Our Newmarket studio is an intimate space with 8 poles and phenomenal instructors that are certified to work with women at all levels. 

Fitness should pump us up, not make us groan. Spinbuddies does just that through lifting, twirling, spinning, and stretching. A word from our founder

Let me start off by saying that I’m a mom of three wonderful boys and if I can do this, so can you!

I’m a different person now that I’m into pole fitness. I know who I used to be and the women I am now is happier, more confident, and more beautiful. I could have never imagined that a 10 foot brass pole at Aradia Fitness would have led me to starting my own fitness studio alongside my best friend at Finesse Studio for Women which has, in turn, led me here. 

If someone would have said to me 14 years ago that I’d be a pole dancing instructor, I would have laughed. The moment I began teaching pole fitness, I knew I didn’t want to do anything else. There’s something about pole that unlocks something within every single woman that tries it. 

I didn’t come from any dance or gymnastics background, so as I began to slowly perfect moves and tricks, I impressed myself with gleaming pride. I see the same gleam in my students once they nail a move they have been working on. Sometimes it takes something unusual like pole fitness to remind us of how fabulous our bodies can feel no matter the age, sex, or size. 

Pole dancing is vigorous and challenging, there’s no question. But it is also so much fun! It’s the most fun you’ll ever have working out! The very motion of pole dancing – the spinning and twirling and inverting – allows us to feel unrestrained. Free. Joyous. 

There’s something so captivating about pole fitness. Many of my students have described themselves as feeling like a new person. 

Pole fitness is a skill, an art, and requires a lot of strength and flexibility – all of which comes with consistency, effort, and loving the process.  We’re all beginners at first, as was I. Now, there’s nothing in the world I’d rather do than teach and continue to challenge my body to levels I would have never imagined.
